Blues Museum Tribute to the Blues Year of the Blues Exhibit

The Museum is celebrating the Year of the Blues
with a touring art exhibit of George Hunt's original
paintings. A companion exhibit combines Hunt's blues paintings
with blues photographs and other items from the Museum's Collection
Inclulded in the Tribute Tour are photographs by Yancey Allison
and Marc Norberg; sheet music and photos of W.C. Handy, and
sculpture by Stephen Hudson and Butch Anthony.

The Tribute to the Blues Exhibit opened in Memphis at Peabody Place
in mid-May. Enjoy a viewing of some of the pieces.
