The Museum is celebrating the Year of the Blues
with a touring art exhibit of George Hunt's original
paintings. These highly unique and colorful paintings
tell the story of the history of the blues through the eyes
and interpretation of a man who has lived the blues in
the deep south for six decades.

This exhibit of 30 large paintings opened in Memphis in late
April after a preview in New York. It then traveled to EMP in
Seattle from mid-May into July. After that Chicago.
